Open Early warnings

This page compares this month's forecasts with last month's and lists any target whose outlook has worsened.

2

Check the watchlists

On a school dashboard, the Watchlists tab lists pupils approaching persistent absence, at risk of suspension or falling behind, with vulnerability flags such as SEND or disadvantaged.

Tip: Sort by risk and start at the top — pupils just above 90% attendance are the easiest to turn around.
3

Look for patterns

The attendance tab shows absence by day of the week and the link between attendance and attainment, helping you explain why a pupil is struggling.

4

Use the weekly digest

The digest preview shows the summary leaders would receive by email each Monday.

5

Follow up

Record an intervention or action, then check back to see if the pupil or target has moved off the list.
